Abstract

The abstract: This study aims to investigate the role of human resource development in the development of tourism services, through reviewing theoretical literature related to human resource management and development, as well as tourism services and methods of their development. This is achieved by conducting a field study at the National Public Museum in the state of Setif using a questionnaire and analyzing the results with SPSS25 software. The study relies on a descriptive-analytical approach to extract the results, and it concludes that enhancing tourism services requires a qualified workforce. Moreover, it emphasizes that the human element is essential for marketing tourism services and contributes to revitalizing the tourism sector in general, particularly in Algeria.
