Abstract

. Summary: Illegal immigration is an important issue in the international arena, as it is a concern for the international community, which has led to international cooperation to combat it through relevant international agreements and institutions. This is what we addressed through our study entitled “International Cooperation to Combat Illegal Immigration.” The study concluded that the rate of illegal immigration has increased, its scope has expanded, its forms have multiplied, it has expanded in size and spread, and that international efforts have not been effective in combating the phenomenon and have not eliminated immigration. Illegitimate, but has tightened its grip on it, and these efforts are still continuing, causing each party to deal with the phenomenon based on achieving its national interes
