Abstract

Abstract : The crime of genocide is one of the most serious international crimes deadly to humans. Due to the great gravity of this crime, an international convention was concluded in 1948 on its prevention and punishment. It also formed an important focus during the development of the International Criminal Court 1998 statute. This crime was also included among the punishable crimes in the Basic Laws of the special international courts and even the international courts, where we will try through this research paper to shed light on the genocidal acts carried out by the soldiers of the Zionist entity against civilians in the Gaza Strip in Occupied Palestine in front of the apparent inability of the International Criminal Court to act to address them, and ways to address such violations Under international criminal and humanitarian law.
